Summer Monsoon?only in Melbourne!!!

Thought i would leave a quick post before christmas, as at this time of year i become overloaded with family obligations, which, im sure you don't need me to tell you, suck and are time consuming.



Last couple of days have been alrite.Too much time was spent at ForestHill though and even though it's change a lot and heaps more shops have opened up it still only takes 2 or so hours so get around to all the shops.The shoping centre as a hole is just fucking terrible.There was a target dvd sale which had my full attention for a good 30 minutes though. Wednesday me, fitton and DD went up there.We didn't do much at all really, just checked out cashies, where i got myself a copy of "Big Fish" for $5, which i was happy about, because i've been wanting to watch it again, ever since Marty gave me this huge poster of it a couple weeks back.However i had to put up with an ugly cashies employee hiting on me.The aracde took up some of our time aswell, Fitton was the only who who could really play stuff, but he made the mistake of droping a $2 coin on the ground and DD snatched it up, swapped it in for two $1 coins, and we played one round mario kart, with me the victor which was kind of bullshit because DD lead for 90% of the race(Yoshi is too pro for everyone...even Phil!).Another bad thing about foresthill is you run into so many people , the list included Andy ,bernadebt(How the fuck do you spell that?),Steph topp and her hot sister,Julia and there was one more i can't remember.Also i saw Emily and Simone after finally peeling myself away from the dvd sale and i talked to them for awhile.Oh and i saw a kid from primary school, Stuart Hunter.



The next day and probably my faviourate day for the week, was a second trip to foresthill to see "Hitman", which was alot better than i predicted, i have never played the game so i was a bit confused with the flash backs, but considering it was an action movie, based on a game, it was very good.Tom,Joel,Joshy and fitton came and thankfully Tom did all the organising, giving me a well deserved brake.The storms fucked our movie up during the last scene and we ended up watching the end with the "Hoyts, enjoy your movie" red screen that shows before the previews on top of the actual movie,thankfully it was relativly transparent, i found the the "enjoy your movie" part very agitating because i was all like "i'm fucking trying to!it would help if you fucked off".Afterwards Tom lead an assualt to get a refund, but all the other guys were to busy laughing and i just didn't give a fuck and went to sleep on the chair beside Tom and the angry manager who had complete disregard for cumstomer service, and,as a result, we ended up getting nothing.All up it was a great day except for the fucking monsoon but luckily Josh's mum was nice enough to give us a lift home and we were all very very grateful.



Monday, as mentioned in the previous post, was a city trip.The pasta from big was consumed as usual by me and DD.We investigated crown and were blown away by the arcade and the rest of the guys were amazed at how fancy it was(they didn't even get to see the up stairs shops and restuaruants, uber posh!).Eric pissed off to minatour by himself, despite me saying we would come with him after we sat down for a couple of minutes, and even after we caught up with him he went home.Then on our way to JB, we discovered some video game shop which was well hidden up a skinny stair case.But what we found up the top was gold, in terms of prices nothing all that speicial, but the range was fucking insane.The highlight was the 4 copies of paper mario (going for $100 a piece),this game was rare enough in Australia when it first came out, but these days? wow! and to have 4 copies of it was even more unbelievable.



Tuesday was such a fucking waste.Woke up at 2:00pm(i enjoy a sleep in, but thats just a waste of your day), had a shower,coffee and some breakfast and then sat down to play some zelda when fitton called me up to nag me to come play dota, i gave in and did what was requested, pretty easily i might add.When i got on DD said to come play Basketball at 4:30, so we played one game of dota and then we had to leave for basketball.We meet up at the school, michael and DD were there already and fitton arrived shortly, Dave also made a cameo and did some umpiring.In the end shit all basketball got played, which disapointed me because i really wanted some exercise.I got home at 8:30 ate a cold dinner, finished the forest temple on zelda and went to sleep. So in the end i was only awake for 8 hours of the day, which is not good and when you sleep that much, you generally waste a day.



As i mentioned i've been playing Zelda:ocarina of time.I have the gamecube promo one which isn't as classic but still great.I was really enjoying it, but i can't anymore.You see, me and my sister have been argueing over who gets to keep the gamecube in their room and my mum said we have to keep it in the family room as a compramise.So tuesday i move it in there and on thursday i go to play it and the cube was broken.It took my sisters 2 days fucking days!there not exactly easy to brake either, i just can't comprehend how they did it.Thankfully my mums going to replace it.Also now i ahve the upperhand into winning the "whos room it stays in" arguement, so i guess everything happens for a reason and in this case it benefits me.

Its getting close to 2008, how weird is that?This time of year makes me reflect so much on whats happened the past year, and i won't rant about it yet because i want to do a post dedicted to 2007(mainly for my own benefit, so i can put down everything and sum up if it was a good/shit year), but i will say that, for me personally, its gone ridiculously fast.

I can't believe i wrote so much about the past 4 days, they were so medicore.I supose the only reason i did this was because i wrote 2 other post, but have decided not to post them because 1 made no sense, because i wrote it at 1 in the mourning after playing dota for 4 hours(that fucks your brain hard), and the other because it's purely a point of view and it's on a sensitive issue that i think it might offended/upset some people.So anyway after spendign an hour over 2 days writing post and then to having nothing realsed seemed a waste of time, so i did this.

Anyway i just played dota non-stop for 7 hours(hahaha im addicted and i makinge no progress at all,im thinking about sticking to console games which im actually goood at) and also its 1:30 in the mouring, so im off to enjoy the great Austrlian summer(sarcasim), seriously though this weather is fucking shit,i love summer, it's by far my faviourate season, and it's been ruined by this crap weather.i'll leave you with a thought, if there is a drought going on, why its there a fucking monsoon outside my house?.
